Through the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant Program, the Frye Magee team works to provide assistance to local governments for the development of communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income.
After natural disasters, the Frye Magee team is dedicated to helping communities recover. Through the State of Louisiana Office of Community Development -Disaster Recovery Unit, Frye Magee helps to manages projects within the largest rebuilding effort in American history, working closely with local, state, and federal partners to ensure that Louisiana recovers safer, stronger and smarter than before. The Frye Magee strategic approach to supporting clients before, during and after a federally declared disaster is a proprietary systematic process that puts the applicant in control of the entire disaster recovery process. We utilize our historical knowledge of FEMA eligibility determinations, understanding of the Stafford Act and associated policies, and decades of experience to maximize funding opportunities from FEMA, insurance and other sources. In addition to FEMA PA, insurance, 404 and 406 mitigation opportunities, we also work with various grant funding resources including HUD, CDBG, DOT, FHWA and others. Our process methodical to assure there is no duplication of funding and that all projects can withstand the potential of an audit.
